We started our business a few years ago as Chandler Photography   and have enjoyed our choice to pursue our passion! We have since changed our company name to Shining Light Studios but it is   still owned and operated us, Michael and Melissa Chandler.

  We pride ourselves with our deep convictions and dedication to the continuing of education as well as dedication to giving back to our community!
We are members of the (PPA) Professional Photographers of America, as well as the state and local professional guild affiliates (TPPA) Texas Professional Photographers of America, and (PPSA) Professional Photographers of San Antonio. We currently serve on the board for PPSA.

Both Michael and Melissa have attended the very prestigious Texas School of Professional Photography (the largest of it's kind in the country) and attend at least three additional seminars annually to stay on the cutting edge our field.

Photography is not just a job for us but our passion and we are blessed that this career choice can also be a living.

We have three beautiful children ages 4-12 and are very family oriented, children are always welcome to all appointments! We form relationships with our clients that go far beyond business. We genuinely care about people and their lives and that truth has been such a blessing!
