The changes of growing into adulthood need to be cherished. Your child will never be the exact age he is right at this exact moment. These fleeting moments will never be repeated. But they may be savored in portraits that tell the story of his little life, these moments falling one into another occur in stages, these stages are accumulated until he is grown. 
Some families are content to record these important moments by snapping a pic with their new digital camera or purchased at dime store photographer with a diagram that shows him where to put the lights begging your child to look into the camera and say cheese. Missing the true essence of your child. The expression he/ she makes that creates your child’s personality. The experience of piling everyone to go sit in line and wait your turn and by the time they get to you your baby is screaming or your two year old has already gotten candy in her hair and it is sticky on the entire left side. Then when the "package" comes in you are pressured into purchasing more than you expected and you have too many copies of the same image or useless thumbnail size ones that are hastily purchased and are filed away in a frame behind the most recent photo, lie forgotten in a drawer or simply fade away.

As life begins, our bodies are continuously changing and no two photography session looks the same. Take a deep breath and childhood is over. A fragile bundle changes in what seems to be moments into a waddling toddler and the moments fall into each other until they are walking and then running.
When children are photographed with people they love, it is possible to capture a fleeting time when your family is everything in your child’s life..
Plan to visit your photographer at least four times during your baby's first year. At or under two weeks…babies at this age sleep a lot. They are beautiful and perfect. This is an intimate studio session. The baby is enveloped in soft light andmay be photographed alone or using a family members shoulder as a prop.After two weeks, these first photographs may be done but are just not the same because the little one wakes more and moves around.
At Six Months . . . babies are so loveable! They focus and are responsive, often cuddly. They enjoy attention and delight in the ability to take part in the session. They sit up and may even giggle. Portraits at this age will be never be forgotten!
At Nine Months . . . babieswill respond to their nameand may even get tickled! They may imitate sounds and facial expressions, they are beginning the exploration of the world around them
